Mercury Turitea Wind Farm

MANAWATŪ COMMUNITY FUND

Mercury’s wind farms above Ashhurst and Palmerston North create renewable energy from fresh air, while communities all around us are caring for people, place and future.

We’ve created a Community Fund to be able to support some of this great work.

The Mercury Manawatū Community Fund is an annual fund of $30,000 to support organisations and projects that benefit the communities in this region. This fund is open from 1 October to 31 October each year.

KEY INFORMATION

Applications to the Fund are considered by a small team including Mercury people who work or live around the Manawatū area, to have a good understanding of where additional support (from the Fund) might make a real difference. We may not be able to accept all requests, or to support any request in full.

The map on the application form indicates the broad area of the Fund, and preference may be given to applications from communities that are closer to our wind farms and transmission infrastructure.
