WHY IS MY BROADBAND PRICE CHANGING?
We're committed to keeping you connected with reliable service. Your broadband price is made up of different components. This includes the cost of running and supporting your service, as well as wholesale charges set by network providers such as Chorus, Enable, Northpower, and Tuatahi First Fibre.
We're adjusting prices to reflect increases in wholesale network charges, along with updates to our retail costs.
WHAT'S INCLUDED IN MY BROADBAND PRICING?
Wholesale & ISP Costs - fibre broadband uses infrastructure provided by our wholesale providers. There are four local fibre companies that provide this infrastructure for our customers; Chorus, Enable, Northpower, and Tuatahi First Fibre.
Our Retail Costs - this covers the costs of everything we need to keep things running smoothly - including billing, administration, business charges, and a margin component.
GST - New Zealand's goods and service tax. GST is 15% of the pre-GST costs.
