APPLICATION ACCEPTANCE CRITERIA

 

  1. Before accepting you as a customer, we need to check that you meet our acceptance criteria.
     
  2. To meet our acceptance criteria:
    1. your property must be in an area of Mercury services;
    2. you must provide us with evidence of your tenancy or occupation of the property,
    3. if requested;
    4. your meter configuration must be acceptable to Mercury; and
    5. you must meet our credit criteria.
       
  3. In some cases, before accepting you as a customer, we may ask for a Bond or require you to use a pre-pay meter solution. The circumstances in which a Bond may be required are set out in clause 9 of our Standard Terms and Conditions.
