REWARDS 10 FREE POWER DAYS PRIZE DRAW TERMS AND CONDITIONS

The Promotion

  1. By entering the Promotion, 100 lucky winners will win 10 Free Power Days (15,000 rewards points) (“Free Power Days” or “Prize”). The winner can then use the 15,000 points to redeem Free Power Days or account credit (“Credit”).
  2. The promotion period runs from 10am on 1 February 2025 and ends at 9pm on 31 March 2025 ("Promotion Period").
  3. Promotion prizes (“Prize”) are not transferable or redeemable for cash. If for any reason we unfortunately can’t provide the Prize, we’ll give you another prize of the same (or greater) value. Free Power Days or account credit are available to redeem in the rewards section of the Mercury App or My Account via the Mercury website.
  4. Points applied are subject to Mercury’s standard rewards points expiry term of 12 months.

Eligibility

  1. To be eligible to enter this Promotion, you’ll need to be living in NZ, aged 18 years or over and an existing Mercury customer who has signed up to rewards.
  2. If you win the Prize, you agree to the use of your first name and the initial of your surname for promotional purposes. We love sharing good news! If you choose not to agree to this, you will no longer be eligible to win the Prize, and the winner will be redrawn.

How to Enter

  1. To enter, complete either a rewards question or a step challenge in the Mercury App during the Ultimate Free Power Day campaign (1 February – 31 March). Each successful challenge you complete counts as one entry into the draw. The more challenges you complete throughout the campaign period, the more chances you have to win!
  2. Entries must be received by Mercury before the expiry of the Promotion Period.
  3. Entries for this Promotion are in addition to any rewards app challenge prize draws you enter.
  4. We want this Promotion to be fair for everyone, so if any entries are incomplete, illegible, 'hacked', or look fraudulent, they may be deemed invalid at our discretion.
  5. We are not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, servers or providers. Nor are we responsible for any incorrect information caused by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilised in this Promotion, or by any technical error that may occur in the course of the administration of this Promotion.
  6. By entering this Promotion and accepting any prize, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

Picking the winner

  1. All eligible entries received during the Promotion Period will go in the draw. The winners will be randomly drawn within five working days of the end of the Promotion Period. Each customer is only eligible to win one prize.
  2. If you're a lucky winner, we'll notify you by email within seven days of the prize draw using the contact details associated with your Mercury account. If you cannot be contacted by us within seven days, Mercury may choose to redraw another winner at its discretion.

Privacy

  1. We’re committed to protecting your privacy. We’ll only collect and use your details for the purposes of running this Promotion.
  2. To access or correct your details, get in touch with us. Mercury’s privacy policy will apply.

Other Legal Stuff

  1. Mercury is the promoter of this Promotion. By entering, your information will only be used by Mercury - we won’t share this with Facebook, Instagram, or any other social media platform we may use to run a Promotion. This Promotion is not sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook, Instagram or any other social media platform used to run a Promotion so Facebook, Instagram or any social media platform we may use to run a Promotion will not be liable to you for any reason.
  2. We do our best to make all of our Promotions wonderful, but sometimes things can go wrong. However, if something does go wrong Mercury and its suppliers will not be liable to you for any loss or damage (including personal injury) that you might suffer through participating in the Promotion or winning (or not winning) any Prize.
  3. Occasionally, things happen which are outside of Mercury’s control and we may have to change or cancel the Promotion or these Terms.
  4. Mercury Rewards Terms and Conditions, Free Power Day Terms and Conditions, Rewards Account Credit Terms and Conditions, and Mercury’s Fair Usage Policy apply to this Promotion.
